Lumaverse helps people find brighter ways to connect with technology, and this mission has been more essential than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic. With many in-person events on hold, people looked for new ways to stay engaged and support others during this challenging time.
As COVID-19 affected our communities, customers used Lumaverse software tools to coordinate school technology and meal pick ups, organize volunteer efforts such as food drive and mask assembly, and schedule COVID-19 related testing and training.
Healthcare groups reached out to our customer support teams as they prepared to roll out the COVID-19 vaccines last December. Here’s more about how Lumaverse solutions are facilitating vaccine scheduling and community relief efforts across the country:
SignUpGenius is an online sign up site that coordinates events and volunteers in minutes. Groups such as county governments and universities are scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments with the site, simplifying registration for the critical effort. SignUpGenius has helped coordinate over 3.7 million COVID-19 vaccine appointments in all 50 states – Charlotte Inno shared how the company is playing a key role in vaccine distribution.
TimeTap The software helps companies like Facebook and Amazon schedule appointments with its scalable solution. People have signed up for more than 775,000 COVID-19 vaccine appointments using the tool, which offers HIPAA compliance. TimeTap’s efforts were featured in a TV story on Charlotte ABC affiliate WSOC.
Fundly The crowdfunding site helped people raise money for efforts such as a community food drive in Marin City, California and groceries for college students. Fundly was mentioned in a Wall Street Journal article about how people turned to crowdfunding sites for help during the pandemic.
We’re inspired to see how customers continue to bring groups together to make a difference.
