Though we’re staying apart to keep each other safer in 2020, people are finding countless ways to connect and support their communities. An estimated 34.8 million people participated in Giving Tuesday last week, celebrating the power of giving whether it’s an act of kindness or a charitable donation.
At Lumaverse Technologies, Giving Tuesday is one of our favorite holiday traditions. As part of our annual giving program, employees choose a nonprofit to receive a $250 donation from the company in honor of Giving Tuesday. In 2020, Lumaverse donated a total of $14,500 on behalf of our employees to 58 nonprofits in communities across the country, from Charlotte, North Carolina to Orange County, California.
